This morning, i received satu sms dari kawan lama masa keje kat hicom

"Suraya koma lps bsalin. Ada kat icu sg buloh. Dari 15 dec lagi"

Suraya. Or Sue. My x-clgs masa kat hicom dulu. Ada la dekat one year bersama. Sama2 buat C program. Sama2 buat voice recording for telephone servis. Ala yg sebut, tekan 1 utk Ya. Tekan 2 untuk tidak. Haaaa.. yg tu lah, kitorg dok kena test flow. So kena la record suara dulu kan. Duduk la kitorg dlm bilik kecik tpt recording tu. Sgt thrill!

Last i met her kat Subang Parade. I think ada dekat 2 years back. Masa tu i gave her my card. Tapi dia tak dpt nak bagi kad dia sbb tak bawak. So i reminded her to contact me again and again. Tapi lepas tu tak pun bercontact. Penat i tunggu sue..

Lepas dapat SMS pagi tadi, the sender, Zuera called me. So we talked over the phone. Sue was pregnant 9 months (3rd child) masa dia collapsed. Bawak pergi hospital, the family was asked to make a choice, between Sue or the unborn child. Kejam nya rasanya kalau kita di bagi pilihan mcm tu. Nak tak nak, the husband had to choose Sue. AlFatihah to the baby... sedihnya..

Since then, Sue koma. It has been a week. Masuk2 je ofis tadi, i look for her in FB. Since zuera did mention her full name kan, so senang la sikit nak search. Actually i've been looking for her but by the name suraya je. Mana nak dapat kan, ramai sgt Suraya nye. This time i search Suraya Othman, there she is. Smiling. And from her fb, I've managed to know her updated condition from her husband's FB, danial.

"Sue is still under active treatment til mid week then they'll ween off drugs to c if she can breathe on her own. If she can't i will have to make a very hard decision. May Allah guide me. Make du'a n solat hajat for what is best for my beloved wife. A miracle may yet happen as He is All Knwlgble, Powerful n Merciful. But we also have to prepare for the worst if sue's brain is not compatible with sustaining life once her active treatment has run its course. "
